The Day
Run by highly qualified coaches, each trial day is structured to show us everything we need to see — how you train, how you think, and how you compete.
Focused work in small groups so every player gets real touches, real coaching, and real attention from the staff.
Position-relevant technical work that lets us assess your fundamentals under the eye of qualified coaches.
Competitive small-sided formats — decision-making, intensity, and personality on the ball all come to the surface.
The day finishes with full-size matches — recorded in full and live-streamed to our coaches across the USA.
The Standard We Set
We set high standards for the players we recruit — because we own our own clubs in the USA. Every selection decision comes down to one question: is this player good enough to play for one of our teams?
That is the minimum standard we set as a club. It ensures every player we take on will receive multiple college offers — as well as an offer to play for one of our clubs in the United States.
Every player is assessed on the day and receives feedback after the event — honest, specific, and useful whatever the outcome.
The 11 v 11 games are recorded in full — giving you professional footage if you don't already have it, with links included in your attendance.
Games are streamed live to our coaches across the United States — you're being watched by decision-makers from the first whistle.
The Pathway
Our selection process is a designed pathway — every stage builds towards your commitment to a U.S. college and beyond.
Train and compete for a full day at Queen Ethelburga's. Our coaches assess every player, and everyone receives feedback after the event. From there, we make our selection of the players offered our placement services.
If selected, you sign on with Oliver Charles Sports Management — joining an agency that only takes on players it believes are good enough to play for its own clubs in the USA.
As part of the agency, our select players get monthly games alongside the complete placement service. That means consistent opportunities for our coaches to see you in action — and a consistent flow of college offers.
We guide you through the commitment process to the college you select, then provide ongoing management for as long as you retain us — summer teams, work visas, additional scholarship sourcing, double majors, master's degrees, internships, and general logistic management.

The plan does not end at commitment. From day one through to graduation, whether that is high school, university, or graduate school, we make sure the plan we put in place is executed. As your retained expert, we know the process and the offerings inside out, and we stay with the family the whole way.
