Apply for Truro City FC's Pro Tryout and take your shot at joining the professional ranks in England.

What is the Truro City pro tryout?

The Truro City FC Pro Tryout is a two-week residential program in Cornwall, England, specifically designed to recruit top talent from the United States, with players hand-selected through U.S.-based tryouts.

Truro's new American ownership believes there are hundreds of talented players in the United States who are currently flying under the radar.

Our goal is simple: to put the next North American professional player into the English Football League.

Why Truro City FC? Why the national league?

The path to professional soccer is often full of obstacles, with talented players overlooked due to lack of visibility, lack of consistent competition and uncertainty around the best path forward. Truro City FC, competing in the National League, sixth tier of English soccer, provides a realistic and accessible entry point into professional soccer.

The National League has produced many top-level players, including Jamie Vardy, Jordan Pickford, Kalvin Phillips, and Chris Smalling. Our aim isn’t to find a Premier League-ready player immediately but rather someone with the potential to rise through the ranks.

This tryout offers a genuine pathway, starting at a level where players can prove themselves in the gateway to professional soccer.
